Donald Trump has yet another problem on his hands. According to The Daily Mail, Cyrus Vance Jr (the district attorney for Manhattan) has reportedly subpoenaed 8 years of personal and business tax returns related to Trump and his organisation. The news obviously has not sat well with Trump himself.
On Monday outside the White House, Trump, told The Mail that he had no knowledge of the “activity” in Manhattan and had not been briefed on the matter. It looks like not only have officials further subpoenaed the documents, uh, they’ve also gone after all of his accountants for the past 8 years.
The firm in question, Mazars USA, confirmed to multiple media outlets on Monday that they “intend to fully cooperate with the law”.
