MARVEL Phase 4 Timeline

Marvel Phase 4 is well underway. Phase 4: Natalie Portman returns as a new Thor, Mahershala Ali will be Blade, Angelina Jolie trains to be an Eternal.

Take a moment to catch your breath folks the Marvel universe lives on.

Here is an anticipated timeline of what is to come

Black Widow (May 1, 2020)

One of the most bad ass female superhero gets their own film and oh boy oh boy, Scarlett Johansson already did not disappoint in supporting roles as Black Widow. Imagine a featured film.

The Eternals (Nov. 6, 2020)

Quick background on what an Eternal is. Created by Jack Kirby following the New God era, an Eternal is in short superpowers God-like humans. This modern representation of an Eternal is to be portrayed by a diverse crew that includes Richard Madden as super-strong Ikaris, Brian Tyree Henry as weapons expert Phastos, Salma Hayek as the leader Ajak and Angelina Jolie as the powerful Thena.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (Fall 2020)

There is a bromance-y film in the Marvel cinematic universe. Best friends Sam Wilson, ported by Anthony Mackie, and Bucky Barnes, portrayed by Sebastian Stan’s. Help me keep count here of non-white leads, Marvel we see you! This is a Disney+ TV show.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (Feb. 12, 2021)

The undisputed Master of Kung Fu. That alone OMG! I’ll be hitting the gym beforehand. This film is slated to feature Simu Liu stars as Shang-Chi and Tony Leung plays the Mandarin. Awkwafina has also been cast in an undisclosed role. Destin Daniel Cretton is directing. This is going to be the equivalent of Black Panther, which means it is going to be done right!

WandaVision (Spring 2021)

Remember the time Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch,

-Stopped a Tain

-Decimated an entire Ultron army

-Leveled Iron Man with a parking lot

-Destroyed an Infinity Stone

-Defended Wakanda while playing doll house with Thanos army

-Held off Thanos WITH ONE ONE HAND

Well yeah she gets her own film.

Loki (Spring 2021)

This Loki film is the Loki who dissipated in Avengers: Endgame with the Tesseract, Loki. This is a Disney+ TV show.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (May 7, 2021)

The aforementioned Scarlet Witch who did all that without a sweat joins Dr. Strange who in like manner has no equal. They join forces to protect the Multiverse. This is going to be a anything you can do I can do better type film, I can feel it. Also this is anticipated to be a scary horror like film. The first of this franchise kind. This is a Disney+ TV show.

Hawkeye (Fall 2021)

Hawkeye in nearly all the Marvel films has done one things very, very well. Never missed a shot. Now imagine that in a female mentee who then surpasses her teacher. Yup. Can we all have 20/20. NOPE. This is a Disney+ TV show.

Thor: Love and Thunder (Nov. 5, 2021)

Natalie Portman as Thor. That’s it. That’s the message.

What If…? (Summer 2021)

The Marvel cinematic universe is a multiverse which means that there’s a multitude of ways that familiar stories could play out differently on other worlds.

Borrowing from The Ancient One’s conversations with Stephen Strange. This universe is only one of an infinite number. What If…? Explores these complexities. This is a Disney+ TV show.
