A new casualty has fallen against the backdrop of claims that Buckingham Palace might be dipping its toes in some extracurricular activities. According to reports, Prince Charles longtime aide has stepped down following what is known as the “Gold Visa” scandal becoming public knowledge.
Michael Fawcett, the aide, is accused of using his connection to the Prince along with his high profile role at the Prince ‘s charity as means to bolster the ability for a Saudi billionaire to obtain a UK visa and residency. In fact, in case it couldn’t get any worse, the Prince is understood to have met the billionaire in 2016.
Mahfouz Marei the wealthy Saudi businessman met with Fawcett numerous times according to the Sunday Times where he is then alleged to have spent tens-of-thousands of pounds to secure his CBE title — the most excellent order available for non-British citizens.
Radio stations and the like would be required to adhere to government guidelines for major announcements which would cease regular programming.
