This is a movie I grew up on and where my love for big cats developed.

This contemporary take on the 1994 timeless classic let me feeling high in spirits.

There were lyrics from songs I heard for the first time, Be Prepared and I Just Can’t Wait To Be King, which had me even more dropped into the film like never before.

The legendary iconic James Earl Jones and Queen B were two performances I looked forward to and did not disappoint.

I was waiting since 2017 for this particular film and I have to say it was well worth the wait.

The difference between animated compared to live action film isn’t too jarring. I left the cinema wanting greater awareness on animals especially big cats.

Imagine a world where Lion King is a memory of endangered species.

Go see it! 5 out of 5 stars.
