And that looks to be two different checks beginning in April and the 2nd in May. According to a mammoth stimulus package, the first check will likely be sent to Americans around 6 April and the other in mid-May. It looks like to start the checks will total about $2k for most Americans.

The same stimulus package is also set to include roughly $300b in relief for small businesses and such to avoid any further layoffs.
