This is how much Trump ‘s impeachment is costing taxpayers from the public purse

Thankfully for the sake of not being a drain on public money — estimates out since December reveal that the impeachment saga cost far less than that of Bill Clinton ‘s 1994 trial. According to the Heritage Foundation, Trump ‘s trial cost the American public purse about $3.06m.

The Daily Signal notes that this is a pretty good estimate of a final cost as the impeachment trial is believed to end next week as Trump ‘s acquittal is all but guaranteed by the Republican controlled Senate. Democrats hoping to remove the President from office, uh, now only have the ballot to look at in hopes of swinging a massive wave in their favour.
