NEW YORK — Yet another Royal Caribbean Cruise ship has docked and this time it had a bunch of people aboard who are now under mandatory quarantine. According to officials, there were 27 isolated individuals on the ship that docked in the NY harbour this morning around 6 am — all of which were rushed to the hospital.
NJ officials confirmed that the patients isolated were taken to the University Hospital Centre in Newark. Meanwhile, the thousands of other passengers aboard were freed without further testing.
That isn’t the only ship under quarantine…
The Diamond Princess ship reportedly remains under mandatory quarantine off the coast of Japan with more than 61 confirmed cases of the coronavirus. Among those 61 cases, officials have confirmed that at least 11 Americans have tested positive.
