As much of the world woke up to their Friday, some are still learning that the United States ordered a sudden militia strike on Iran that reportedly assassinated a top general. According to several Iranian reports and officials, that general has been identified as Qasem Soleimani.
America including its leader, claims that Qasem has spearheaded the murders and deaths of dozens of US soldiers throughout the years (although that isn’t fully confirmed.)
Axios now reports that American officials are on edge amid valid fears that war may be on the horizon. Iranian officials have vowed to seek severe revenge for Qasem’s death, although it remains unclear as to how they intend to do that.
