Union was reportedly contacted by SAG-AFTRA officials late last night after new reports about the situation emerged. Officials confirmed in their own statement that they take “workplace issues like these very seriously” and a full and thorough investigation is underway. Although that investigation will remain strictly confidential.
The situation sparked an online uproar after it was revealed that Union was let go as an AGT judge after complaining about a number of racially insensitive remarks and jokes that had been made. One of them notably was by none other than Jay Leno.
