Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders underwent a medical procedure on Tuesday evening citing issues with a blocked artery. According to Sanders campaign, the 78-year-old presidential hopeful reportedly had “a blocked artery” that required two stents to be inserted for assistance.
Campaign officials confirmed that Sanders is now doing well and “in high spirits”. Until further notice though, campaign events have been cancelled as of this time.
