According to Iranian news reports, a top nuclear scientist was assassinated as the weekend kicked off to stunned officials and an alarming message for the Americans. Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, one of the country’s leading nuclear scientists, was killed in an alleged gunmen opened fire on his car after having pulled up next to his convoy. Welp, there it is. The Wuhan Lab believed and rumoured to be the source of the global COVID-19 outbreak might have a little more information in its coffers than it is telling the world. According to an interview with AFP, the lab has now confirmed the claim that they've had 3 variations of the Bat version of the Coronavirus on site all along. A Chinese virologist is seen inside the P4 laboratory in WuhanJohannes Eisele/Getty Images “Now we have three strains of live viruses… But their highest similarity to SARS-CoV-2 only reaches 79.8 percent,” Yanyi said, referring to the coronavirus strain that causes COVID-19. “It’s an obvious difference,” she said, according to AFP. Despite the admissions, the lab maintains that they had nothing to do with the outbreak.
