FAQ: Despite enormous demand we have no desire to launch a business in China

Although we own the rights to our name in China we have no interest in actually launching a business in China. We have never had a desire to do such because we are a media outlet that otherwise likely would be subject to the government ‘s draconian media rules. We do however have a pending launch of Bazaar Daily Japan coming next year. It will be a mixed language outlet and we’re thrilled to be entering Asia for the first time. Our outlets have always been accessible to people in China (and we have always allowed VPN access) but we do not have an outlet itself in China. We’ve grown allot this year and have brought our outlets to much of the accessible world and we thank you for your continued support.

You really really can’t be serious, this actually happened

A Massachusetts man is in the headlines this weekend after he apparently sued two Dunkin Doughnut chains in the area after they "put fake butter instead of real butter on my bagel". Yes, you read that right Jan Palovik filed suits against two franchises after they apparently put the wrong kind of butter on his bagel (they apparently used margarine...).   Again, we're totally not joking with you right now.   According to suit documents provided to Daily News: After Hours, Polavik claimed that the chains falsely advertised "real butter" and that they ("need to serve what they advertise rather than sell something else".) Polavik's lawyer Thomas Shapiro declined to comment.

Felony criminal charges coming in Flint Water Crisis

FLINT -- While its no major win against the Republican governor Rick Snyder, attorneys have announced that three people closely connected to the water crisis are to be charged with misdemeanor and felony charges over the crisis. This is where it gets interesting.  It was announced late Monday that two Flint officials and a water plant employee are facing criminal charges.  The news comes after a Republican attorney (who is ironically defending Rick Snyder from criminal charges) announced that action is being taken. According to the Associated Press the charges include violating Michigan's drinking water law, official misconduct, destruction of utility property, and evidence tampering per officials that spoke to the AP.

10 Reasons Why You Should and Should Not Vote For Hillary Clinton in 2016

It's now 2016, and President Obama is in his last year in office. That means someone else gets to sit in the big chair and make all the decisions. In order for that to happen, someone else must be elected. While the Republican party seems to be out of sync as far as their next pick for  presidential candidate, the Democratic party has a clear leader, Hillary Rodham Clinton. In the last Presidential Democratic race, Hillary Clinton was leading by a big margin before she was eventually taken over by current President, Barack Obama. It seems as if history, at least in part, is repeating itself as Hillary Clinton has a firm lead on the Democratic nomination for President. For those who are unsure as to whether or not you should or shouldn't vote for Hillary in the upcoming 2016 Presidential r...

What The GOP Obamacare Repeal Bill Would Do To Millions Of Americans.

Security and protection are two words that every living person needs to know they have at some point in their lives. When things get tough, or when something unexpected happens, it's good to know that there is something or someone a person can turn to for help. Here, in the United States, health insurance is something every American wants, yet not all Americans can afford. This is what Obamacare was designed to solve. And though not perfect, this is what the GOP repeal bill is trying to destroy. On Friday, January 8th 2016, Republican lawmakers push a bill pass Congress and the Senate designed to repeal or neutralize President Obama's healthcare act that he signed into law in 2010. To truly understand just what this repeal would mean to millions of Americans, Obamacare must first be und...

The Dow Drops 200 Points: Is China and Cheap Oil To Blame?

The Stock Market plays such a vital role in the lives of most Americans. 401K, company stock options, and Investment firms, all rely on the stock market. The last thing people want to read or hear is that the thing they rely on for their retirement has just dropped shockingly low. This is exactly what people are dealing with Thursday January 7th 2016. The latest Wall Street meltdown comes just as China's own stock market fell 7% last night. The china stock market incurred losses so serious that all trading had to be stopped in the opening half hour of trading. The markets never reopened for the rest of the day. Then, crude oil dropped to its lowest margin in 12 years, falling below the numbers during the financial crisis of 2008. According to CNN Money, the Dow plummeted over 300 points ...

President Barack Obama’s Emotional Stance On Gun Control

Gun control is a topic that consumes the minds of a lot of people. With increased violence from gun shootings around the United States, many people wonder what local authorities and government are doing to solve this growing problem. It seems that guns continue to reach the hands of those that would do others harm far too often. Well, this is a concern not just for the American public, but for the President of the United States as well. President Obama is not known for his whimsical sunny personality in public, but when it comes to guns, specifically gun violence, his emotional side comes to life. In October of 2015 president Obama said with utter frustration and disbelief, “we've become numb to this,” after reports of yet another mass tragedy due to gun violence came to light. That day,...

Many people live very busy lives these days.
