Iran’s senior most right-wing cleric has died at the age of 85
Iran 's top right-wing cleric and also questionably insane at that Iranian Ayatollah Mohammad Taqi Mesbah Yazdi has died. According to state run media, Yazdi died over the weekend ate the age of 85. He was notably a supporter of the country's ex-President who himself famously claimed that there were no gays or lesbians in the country.

He was an opponent of any movements considered "western'; of the gender equality type, and otherwise pretty much anything that would've modernized Iran.
