Against the backdrop of reports that Donald J Trump is to be arrested this weekend, law enforcement officials across numerous agencies are gathering to determine how to make security happen around the situation. As noted previously, the arrest of Donald Trump would go down in history.
On his Truth Social site over the weekend (we’re not linking to that here) Trump made a post suggesting that his supporters should ‘take the nation’ back. This is Trump’s second bout with inciting violence against the United States of America.
FBI officials and heads from the Secret Service are also understood to be looped into security discussions as each of them remains on high alert. Trump’s post was similar to the previous one that led to the right-wing orchestrated terrorist attack on the United States Capitol on 6 January 2021.
