Music icon Ozzy Osbourne has announced his retirement. According to the musician, he is simply too old to continue to perform and can no longer physically handle the demands of touring. Osbourne made the announcement after announcing that all tour dates and shows have been cancelled going forward.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the 74-year-old icon had this to say.
“My one and only purpose during this time has been to get back on stage,” he said. “My singingvoice is fine. However, after three operations, stem cell treatments, endless physical therapy, and most recently groundbreaking Cybernics (HAL) Treatment, my body is still physically weak.”
