A huge win in Kansas today as voters last night delivered a massive blow to right-wing extremists hoping to limit the ability of women to have abortions in the state. According to a referendum vote, 60% of voters in the state nearly unanimously sent a loud message to the GOP hands off women’s bodies.
A vote was put forth that would’ve either allowed abortion to remain or remove it all together within the borders of the state. The win for abortion rights and women’s rights advocates has sent a huge message to the GOP led legislature who likely will still try to pass or ram through some form of further restrictions.
The message is clear and November is poised to be a wild election cycle.
