Former President Donald Trump is having probably one of his worst weeks in months. Now following reports of a raid; classified information being taken from his home, and now investigations into whether or not he violated the Espionage Act it only keeps getting worse. In new posts online, Trump has openly demanded that the DOJ return the boxes of documents in which it seized from his residence down in Florida.
“Oh great! It has just been learned that the FBI, in its now famous raid of Mar-a-Lago, took boxes of privileged ‘attorney-client’ material, and also ‘executive’ privileged material, which they knowingly should not have taken,” Trump said on his Truth Social site.
He is referencing the classified information he was illegally keeping at Mar-a-Lago which was seized by the FBI in a raid earlier this week. As a result of his actions, he is being investigated by federal authorities for violations of what is called the Espionage Act.
