Kyiv mayor: Citizens should be prepared and on high alert on May 9th

As the war in Ukraine rages on because Vladamir Putin is still a dictator like asshole — Kyiv ‘s mayor is telling residents and those who remain there to be on high alert in the next few days. As many know 9 May in Russia is called Victory Day and it is understood and widely accepted that Putin may be planning another attack or have some form of an announcement on this day.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko told residents today that they beginning Monday should assume it is best to stay inside (unless of course a building is under attack) to avoid any possible danger to themselves or others if Russia chooses to attack on that day. There will be no curfew imposed right now but people are expected to follow wartime security rules. People can still go lay flowers and such but they are advised to do so quickly, quietly, and in private.
