This week saw yet another mass shooting in America. According to reports, an 18-year-old white nationalist shot up a Buffalo grocery store over the weekend in New York. It is the latest mass shooting in a country besieged by domestic terrorism and nationalism two things that are bringing such behavior to the forefront of life in the country. CNN reports that the suspect has been identified and appears to have at some point livestreamed what became of the shooting before killing more than 10 people.
Law enforcement officials are understood to be investigating the mass shooting as a hate crime against the Black community. The shooting at the Tops Market happened in what is called a food bazaar primarily serving low-income; senior, and is generally considered a predominately Black area.
The suspect Payton S Gendron, 18, is understood to not only have livestreamed his massacre but had a manifesto of more than 180 pages detailing some pretty bizarre idealisms.
