Anthony Fauci has revealed his time as scientific advisor to the White House might be coming to an end

Scientific advisor Anthony Fauci who is largely responsible for helping America throughout much of the early pandemic might be leaving his role. In a new interview, Fauci confirmed that in fact if Donald Trump wins again he will not in no way return as scientific advisor to the White House due to the many problems the two had working together in the past. Trump notably often went against his own advisors in favor of scientific misinformation; lies, and otherwise dangerous actions that went against the grain of public health.

“If you look at the history of what the response was during the administration, I think, you know, at best, you can say it wasn’t optimal,” said Fauci, who heads the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. “And I think just, history will speak for itself about that.”
