A new study has found that lockdown orders pretty much didn’t do anything of good

A new study published this week has shed light on how effective lockdown orders were between America and Europe. The study suggests that suc h draconian orders only saved about 10k lives combined between the two places almost for the entire duration of the lockdown.

Johns Hopkins University in the US, Lund University in Sweden and the Danish think-tank the Center for Political Studies, said that equates to 6,000 fewer deaths in Europe and 4,000 fewer in the US. While the study appears to have found that lockdowns did minimal — it found that mask wearing continues to be the most effective tool against the pandemic.
