According to reports, Musk ‘s talks with banks to secure funding for his takeover actually included very different talking points than what he actually appears to have told the public. But it gets worse from there. The same report suggests that Musk plans to lay off a ton of people almost as soon as his takeover is complete. In case it couldn’t get any worse Musk also apparently plans to figure out ways for influencers to further invade Twitter by offering up payment to big names and emerging names to create for the site itself. Sources noted to Reuters and Bloomberg that Musk ‘s focus isn’t so much free speech as it is to boost the company’s bottom line and even touted his success at Tesla s means to be able to actually do so.
