Big news for Amazon merchants this week. According to Amazon, the e-commerce giant is poised to begin allowing third party merchants to enable prime delivery service for products directly through their site. Initially, the new feat is expected to be by invitation only for those already using Amazon ‘s order services.
Amazon appears to be attempting to fend off rivals like Shopify who acquired a big slice of new customers during the pandemic. Shopify appeals to the masses because they have less restrictive custom settings for stores on their platform over Amazons.
