As many suspected Vladimir Putin appears to have ulterior motives than those previously publicly claimed. According to new reports, the Kremlin has acknowledged for the first time that the government does in fact want full and complete control of southern Ukraine.
Complete control would mean that Putin would be able to install a lane corridor connecting Russia to the very area he previously invaded in 2014. It appears that Putin is attempting to further his reach into Ukraine as suspected despite denials from the Kremlin.
CNN reports that several new gunfights have broken out since Russia’s own declaration of its ambitions.
