Ukrainian nationals are set to receive TPS from the United States in a bid to protect them from Putin ‘s mounting rage

America is gearing up to offer Temporary Protected Status to Ukrainian migrants forced out of their home country by the war. According to the American government, the status will be offered to thsoe who fled the war torn country amid Putin ‘s unlawful invasion and help them get things like work permits and the like.

“Russia’s premeditated and unprovoked attack on Ukraine has resulted in an ongoing war, senseless violence, and Ukrainians forced to seek refuge in other countries,” Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro N. Mayorkas said in a statement according to Buzzfeed News. “In these extraordinary times, we will continue to offer our support and protection to Ukrainian nationals in the United States.”
