Russia has requested formal military help from China inside Ukraine

Russia ‘s next move may very well involve China. According to new reports from American intelligence officials, Russian officials have in fact asked the Chinese for formal help in Ukraine however to what extent isn’t fully known yet.

White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan told CNN’s Dana Bash Sunday:

“We also are watching closely to see the extent to which China actually does provide any form of support, material support or economic support, to Russia. It is a concern of ours. And we have communicated to Beijing that we will not stand by and allow any country to compensate Russia for its losses from the economic sanctions,” Sullivan said.

It appears that the Americans are aware of reported high-level efforts from China to help the Russians circumvent sanctions against them.
