Former reality star Heidi Montag claims Lady Gaga is the reason her music career didn’t take off

Former US reallity star and wildchild Heidi Montag is back in the news with some pretty wild claims. According to reports, Heidi Montag herself has now claimed that the reason why her music career didn’t take off was in fact because of a tussle with Lady Gaga over Gaga ‘s eventual song called “Fashion.”

Montag claims thata at the time this song would’ve come out (before Gaga was Lady Gaga) she was prepped to work with Redone. Redone had a song called Fashion that was already written by Lady Gaga who Heidi says said she could have the song.

But the song ended up making it onto the 2009 film Confessions of a Shopaholic.

“He was like, ‘I just need to get the consent of the writer.’ And so I just thought Lady Gaga was a writer because she was a writer on the song,” Heidi shared, not realizing that Lady Gaga was also a singer (this was years before she was super famous).

“And he was like, ‘Hey, I’m gonna cut ‘Fashion’ with Heidi. I have her in the studio, she loves it,'” Heidi recalled.
