It’s the service that most people probably have because at this point Amazon is almost unavoidable. According to the US based company, the pricing for their Prime service is set to jump for the first time since 2018. USA Today reports that Amazon has justified the price increase though the executive who did such has not been named.
That statement reads in justification of the increase that the reasoning is “the continued expansion of Prime member benefits as well as the rise in wages and transportation costs.” The monthly price will now jump to $14.99 and the yearly price will jump to $139.
