It’s Wednesday morning and as we down our third latte we’re bringing you your morning news guide. In this morning appetizer, there’s allot going on already and even more expected as the day goes on. This appetizer is brought to you by our holdings company Crown Holdings.

  1. New York is set to ends its business-indoor mask mandate today.

According to reports, the state of New York is set to join its fellow Dem states in at least partially ending mask mandates. The New York Times reports that Governor Hochul is expected to announce that businesses no longer have to enforce the mask mandate, but, the mandate will remain for school aged children. It is unclear at this time if she intends to end that mandate when it expires in two weeks.

2. French President Emmanuel Macron is back to the drawing board

As it turns out, Russian dictator Vladamir Putin apparently wasn’t on board with any plans laid out by Emmanuel Macron during the French Prez’s visit to the Kremlin. Russian state media now claims that there were no concrete plans laid out and that Macron lacked the appropriate clout to even do so because he is the Prez of France a member of NATO rather than anything to do with Russia or Ukraine. As many might recall Putin is viciously attempting to prevent Ukraine from joining NATO.

3. Surprisingly Mitch McConnell has sided with common sense and called the January 6th terrorist attack against the Capitol exactly what it was: an insurrection.

According to US media reports, Mitch has since come out against his colleagues that are sticking to their guns with the claims that the events that took place were ‘legit political discourse.’ Instead Mitch is now calling it a violent insurrection meanwhile Kevin McCarthy is standing by the RNC and their wildly dishonest words.

4. A shocking discovery in Italy has led authorities wondering what happened.

According to Italian media reports, the body of a 70-year-old woman who appears to have been dead for at least two years has finally been found… sitting in a chair. The woman has been identified as Marinella Beretta who was only found after calls to city officials were made following overgrown vegetation in the area.
