There’s big trouble brewing in the case against Ghislaine Maxwell that could result in her being freed from prison

Freed in essence because it does appear that two jurors spoke about their own sexual assault experiences in the past which shouldn’t have been done in the first place. According to US media reports, those two jurors have not only revealed these things but have now lawyered up amid reports that the defence is crying foul. Reuters reports that one of the jurors identified only as “Scotty” reportedly told jurors behind closed doors of his own childhood abuse and it (“appeared to influence others in the room.”)

In almost all cases juror questionnaires are confidential nonetheless but it appears parts of those are making their way into the public domain. It is unclear how many jurors may have actually discussed their own past experiences with child abuse and sexual assault.

Prosecutors are already freaking out over the news as it appears neither of the jurors actually revealed the cases of child and sex abuse experiences on their questionnaires.

Defence attorneys are demanding a mistrial over what is known as a tainted jury.
