Nicola Sturgeon has announced plans to get people back in the office starting Monday, but will they go?

SCOTS are in for an unwelcome surprise if they haven’t already started receiving notifications to return to the office. According to Nicola Sturgeon, Scotland is set to follow in the footsteps of England this week in removing work from home rules and instead opting for a return to the office. The only difference is that in England the rules were scrapped last week with immediate effect Scotland will take effect next week.

Sturgeon has also announced that the two metre social distancing rule will be drawn back to just one as the rules come into play next week.

When it comes to children — some of those rules are also changing. In her exact words to MSPs, ‘From Friday, face coverings will no longer be required for any adult taking part in organised activities when they are directly interacting with children under the age of five.’

Critics have pounced on the move arguing that it should be left up to employers and their workers to decide what they’d like to do — it is unclear why that was no the case according to multiple reports.
