Prosecution has rested its case against Ghislaine Maxwell her fate now hangs in the balance

Ghislaine Maxwell ‘s fate now hangs in the balance. After a whirlwind and often dramatically salacious trial, the former British socialite must now wait for a verdict to be delivered in the sex-trafficking trial against her. The most recent victim to testify Annie Farmer told an open court of how Ghislaine and Epstein groomed her in 1996. What was originally supposed to be a meeting about Farmer getting help with school otherwise turned criminal in nature and fast.

During that year, Farmer testified that she had made Ghislaine first who took her to Epstein ‘s mansion at the time. Under the guise of help with school, Farmer was then groped by the breasts and then Epstein repeatedly climbed into her bed without her consent following those encounters. It alike many other victims are just samples of the many terrifying examples of horror Maxwell and Epstein inflicted upon others mainly young women.

The next steps in the case will go to the defense and then ultimately the verdict in the matter. Maxell according to multiple experts including the judge in the case could probably hear a verdict by 20 December. In her testimony, Farmer recalled some pretty chilling moments.

“just wanted the weekend to be over. … I wanted to be done with it.”

She added: “All these experiences made me feel like they had a very different interest in me.”
