Let’s talk about that wild situation playing out at Better.com

Let’s be real Better.com is pretty freaking wild for what they did but apparently, the fallout continues over their CEO’s reported firing of more than 900 people over Zoom.

That last part unfortunately isn’t a joke. Late last week, Better.com CEO Vishal Garg abruptly announced a Zoom meeting among swatches of his staff. Garg apparently had planned the entire scheme but didn’t tell anyone until hundreds of people were online thinking it was a typical meeting.

Grag has been so unremorseful for his actions that he even admitted in commentary that he has done such before to others except last time he cried. The mass firings and then exodus that currently is playing out among the company follows reports that as Garg planned to fire 900+ people he and other execs quietly negotiated a new influx of cash.

Now come mass resignations. According to the New York Post, several top execs have jumped ship amid the intense backlash the company is getting online and on social media. Those include the heads of communications; PR, and at least one other department.
