We have an identity in the case of the school shooting that rocked Michigan earlier this week. According to the Oakland County DA ‘s office, the teen in the shooting has been identified as Ethan Crumbley. Crumbley is 15-years-old and reportedly has an unhinged history of distress red flags that went unaddressed in his private life.
Oakland County DA Karen Mcdonald confirmed according to the Detroit Free Press that Crumbley will be charged as an adult as her office has come to the conclusion that the attack was likely intentional. The Free Press notes that MacDonald is charging him with first degree murder and additional terrorism charges. According to other reports, his father bought the infamous gun less than a week ago on Black Friday. Police are leaving it up to the prosecutor whether or not he will be charged.
The charges as we’ve learned are as follows: first-degree murder, seven counts of assault with intent to murder, and 12 counts of possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
