Travis Scott has been sued over his infamous #Astroworld festival and his failure to adequately control the crowd

American musician Travis Scott is now the subject of a lawsuit over the rowdy crowd and the 8 deaths that occurred at the hands of his Astroworld Festival over the weekend. According to what we’ve learned which is to be announced tomorrow —- TX attorney Thomas J Henry is representing the unidentified individuals in the lawsuit who claim that both Drake and Scott knowingly incited the crowd that eventually turned deadly. Both Live Nation and the concert venue are also listed in the documents per what we’ve seen.

The only identified subject so far is that of Kristian Parades, 23, who is reportedly seeking more than $1m in damages for the fact he was heavily injured at the concert. He also claims that like others both Drake and Scott incited the crowd and then did nothing about it.

The events that took place are still under investigation, however, they’re being referred to as a mass casualty event. Officials in Texas report that via the Houston mayor the ages of the victims are as follows: 14, 16, 21, 21, 23, 23 and 27.

“Live musical performances are meant to inspire catharsis, not tragedy,” said Henry in a press release. “Many of these concert-goers were looking forward to this event for months, and they deserved a safe environment in which to have fun and enjoy the evening. Instead, their night was one of fear, injury, and death.”
