This article is a public health update regarding the omicron Coronavirus variant that is currently spreading throughout the world. According to officials in Germany and Italy, the two countries are now added to the list in which the variant has been detected. This news comes just two days after the UK confirmed that it also has two patients who have come into contact with the mysterious new variant that appears to be wildly more transmissible than the last.
Previously released information also confirmed that the variant has been detected in: Belgium, Israel, and Hong Kong. American officials are reiterating that they’re expecting the variant to arrive in America if it hasn’t already arrived sending urgent reminds to the public to remember to mask up; sanitize hands, and do your best to stay a distance from people you don’t know.
The World Health Organisation previously made the statement that none of us is safe until all of us are safe and that now appears to be the case in a lot of countries right now.
