Supreme Court appears to be considering whether or not to overturn New York ‘s restrictive gun laws

Because nothing says New York quite like going for a bagel and a latte and some wackjob carrying what would only presumably be a semiautomatic rifle (America’s weapon of choice) right beside you in the store. According to the Supreme Court, New York ‘s longstanding restrictive gun law may finally be close to being overturned if the justices can come to a certain agreement.

Thus even with such potentially on the table then comes the issue of subways; bars, and the like which in New York City are often jam packed with dozens if not hundreds of people at any singular time. Supreme justices and even locals are widely concerned at the idea of some lunatic freely having a gun on a subway car locked in with 30 people stuck underground.

The more liberal justices of the court appear to be ready to let the law remain which requires people to have a sort of special circumstance regardless of the stated reason for said person to actually possess a firearm.
