I KID YOU NOT Salt Bae ‘s overpriced London steakhouse is hiring and for a place that charges more for its food than most pay in rent the pay is not well. According to the job posting, the pay is starting at $16 to $18 (£12 to £13.50) which is quite low for a restaurant that charges $1,975 for a “juicy” steak.
“Amazing opportunity for an experienced Chef De Partie to join Nusret team in the new restaurant in London,” the post read. “As a Chef De Partie, you will be working with some of the finest ingredients from the U.K. and abroad in the one of the most famous steakhouses in the world.”
The site continued, “You will play a vital part in a large team and will support the Head Chef during service. To the successful candidate, Nusret London offers a highly competitive salary and excellent opportunities to develop a global career.”
This same location was previously heavily criticised earlier this year when it originally opened over its outrageous prices.
