Project Veritas is in trouble, here’s everything you need to know right now (and it probably will get worse)

Project Veritas which bills itself as a credible organisation (that’s debatable) is now the subject of an FBI investigation amid reports and widespread claims that they somehow got their hands on Ashley Biden ‘s private diary. A while back Biden ‘s private belongings were heisted from her residence and somehow ended up in the possession of the website, though, the website only recently appears to have published the contents of the diary.

Because the contents of the diary contain tidbits that are hotly controversial we have to put this warning here. Reading beyond this point is not suitable for all audiences. Beyond this point contains reported diary entries that appear to suggest that Joe Biden showered with his daughter.

Editors Note: We won’t fully post them here as the contents of the diary are the subject of the FBI investigation but we will just briefly touch on them. We are not publishing excerpts of the diary simply because the FBI is going after anyone who appears to do so.

According to NBC News, at least 4 members of Project Veritas have had their devices seized and their homes raided by the FBI. FBI officials seized on the raid amid reports and claims that Project Veritas may have had a part in the theft of the diary itself though that remains under a separate investigation. The group’s founder James O’Keefe maintains that they did not steal the diary but instead were approached by outside sources who claimed to initially have obtained it — though it is unclear if FBI officials actually believe that narrative.

“Late last year, we were approached by tipsters claiming they had a copy of Ashley Biden’s diary,” O’Keefe said in a statement on the Project Veritas website. “The tipsters indicated that they were negotiating with a different media outlet for the payment of monies for the diary.”

He continued: “At the end of the day, we made the ethical decision that because, in part, we could not determine if the diary was real, if the diary in fact belonged to Ashley Biden, or if the contents of the diary occurred, we could not publish the diary and any part thereof.”
