NYC is welcoming back tourists and the like for its iconic NYE celebrations

New York City is almost back (well kinda depending on who you actually ask and why.) According to the government, New Years Eve is set to be in full swing this year but of course only for the fully vaccinated. Mayor De Blasio confirmed this week that the iconic celebrations will go on for the first time since the pandemic.

“Hundreds of thousands of people there to celebrate. We can finally get back together again. It’s going to be amazing,” de Blasio said, per the AP. If you have a disability you can still attend, however, you must show a negative COVID test from a reputable medical provider.

HINT: Almost any CITY MD in New York, this is for you travellers, will help you along with that. It takes about 30 or so minutes to get it back in an e-mail and is probably your best bet if you don’t live in New York and quickly need to get a test done. Generally speaking, this is done without charge. These tests are typically the ones that involve a nasal swab (prepare yourself.)
