American youngsters are about to get COVID vaccinated, here’s what you need to know right now

On Tuesday the U.S FDA and the CDC formally announced that vaccinations for those 5-11 years old are set to be OK’d. According to the FDA, an influential panel has unanimously voted in favour of allowing such vaccinations for kids in hopes that it’ll eventually help America catch up to and or contain the pandemic that has changed America forever.

The next step requires that Dr. Rochelle Walensky must approve such to happen but that is expected to happen without opposition. It is a “monumental” day for America as kids can still spread COVID to their loved ones and those who may be vulnerable around them.

The AP reports that shots are set to begin as soon as Walensky signals the final OK which could be as soon as this week or next in the Americas. Shots have already begun shipping to states; pharmacies, and doctors offices nationwide per Pfizer.
