A new COVID variant has emerged and it is understood to contain 32 different mutations by itself

Researchers and COVID analysts have revealed the medical identity of a new COVID-19 variant this week. This time the variant is understood to have first emerged in Botswana but has also been seen in places like Hong Kong and even further away. According to researchers, this variant of the virus is understood to be significantly more problematic than the Delta variant and appears to carry 32 singular mutations in its own right.

One of those researchers Dr. Tim Peacock from Imperial College has described the new strain as “horrific.” The strain is understood to have even more spike proteins than the previous strains that came before it. Health experts and analysts actually did warn of a dangerous winter and it appears that such may have arrived at least so far.

Health experts have made it clear that the variant has not yet fully spread though it does have the ability to do so.
