Wayne LaPierre who is in part also responsible for America’s gun epidemic will retain leadership at the NRA

Because nothing says leadership like profits over the lives of your families and loved ones. According to the NRA, its board has once again re-elected Wayne LaPierre for another bout as the groups’ leader. The move comes amid heavy scrutiny over the past few years over financial corruption; Americans realising they’ve lied too, and the fact that LaPierre was once accused of stealing from his own people to fund a lavish lifestyle.

The announcement appears to have been made in a tweet where other top nominees were also announced.

“The proceedings in Charlotte were an amazing celebration of NRA fellowship and freedom,” Cotton said in a statement that accompanied the tweet. “Under the direction of Wayne LaPierre, the NRA is strong and secure – well positioned to chart its course for the future.”
