Stab City: Violent crime finally turns on the government as lawmakers demand answers in sudden death of David Arness

UK lawmaker David Arness has been killed. Killed by way of a reported stabbing that occurred this week following more than a year of stabbings throughout London that infamously earned the city the nickname “Stab City” a nickname that has stuck amid a surge of violence. Like the Americas, the once great city of London too is also suffering a wave of its own that has now struck the very government who failed to stop it.

According to NBC News, MP David Arness died this week after being stabbed multiple times by a 25-year-old assailant for reasons that aren’t quite clear yet. NBC notes that the attack occurred in Leigh-on-Sea just outside of a Methodist Church.

Essex police confirmed that the 25-year-old thug openly walked in Arness’ office in the area and proceeded to stab him to death. Arness was in fact a member of Boris Johnson’s ruling conservative party and had first been elected to parliament in 1983.

“We were called to an address in Eastwood Road North shortly after 12.05pm today (Friday 15 October). We attended and found a man injured. He was treated by emergency services but, sadly, died at the scene,” the police said in a statement.

“A 25 year-old man was quickly arrested after officers arrived at the scene on suspicion of murder and a knife was recovered. He is currently in custody. We are not looking for anyone else in connection with this incident.”

It is understood that the attack has been dubbed a terrorist attack.
