The book is self-published, a widespread choice among the new generations, even if Brand Persona is by no means low-content. “I used to publish in a traditional way and I wanted to try a new experience. Self-publishing gives you the primitive emotion of creating something with your own hands but with technologically advanced tools. I find it very contemporary” – explains Venturi. From fashion to psychology, from many musical quotes to a cinematographic cover, from cities of art to politics, this book coins a new multidisciplinary language, to completely redesign the way of conceiving business. “Values produce value, not vice versa, numbers are the consequence, not the origin of business, and branding makes no exception” – states the author.

 Brand Persona contains real case histories on brands that stand out for their vision, excerpts from conversations, interviews, travel reports, executive meetings, and original strategies the author has implemented throughout years of personal experience. “I wanted to write something as useful as a manual but as simple and confidential as a diary – says Danilo Venturi. No matter if you are a techno-savvy start-up, a fast-moving consumer goods company, or just the brand of yourself. This book comes up with the universal method we all were missing in branding. “If you want to have a humanistic approach to business it is important to find out what is changing but it is equally important to understand what never changes” – concludes the author.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR With a background in political science, Danilo Venturi began his career in the music industry. He moved on to pioneering e-commerce and concept stores before working for the lingerie brand, La Perla. He obtained a Master in Luxury Management from Polimoda, where he subsequently returned to teach Fashion Brand Management, write the book Momenting the Memento: Fashion Education & the City, and launch the International Business Department.

 In 2015, he was appointed Director of the Florentine institute Polimoda and Forbes titled his tenure The Reign of Error: How Polimoda Upgraded Fashion Education”. In 2021 he founded Brand Persona, the company that provides managerial, editorial and educational services to public and private institutions based on the four-step method described in this book. www.daniloventuri.com
