According to several reports, the non-profit charity organisation that was due to receive the proceeds from Jamie Lynn Spears’ memoir in January has reversed course. PS reports that the organisation, This is My Brave, ended up reversing course and declining the proceeds because of the allegations of abuse also plaguing Lynn Spears as they are the rest of the Spears clan.
Jamie had previously been accused of being complicit in the abuse that occurred at the expense of Britney Spears’ persons.
“We heard you. We’re taking action,” the mental health-focused charity said in a statement on Instagram. “We are deeply sorry to anyone we offended. We are declining the donation from Jamie Lynn Spears’ upcoming book.”
