UK popstar Zayn Malik and his American girlfriend Gigi Hadid have broken up. According to reports, the twosome broke up some time this year though that appears to have quite literally been last month. Reports indicate that the two have been having relationship trouble for some time over Hadid ‘s invasive mum Yolanda Hadid.
Multiple reports indicate that trouble began brewing over the summer after repeated unwanted and random visits by Yolanda to the couple’s home while Gigi was away in Paris. The trouble soon followed from there according to numerous US gossip sites.
A criminal complaint appears to confirm that Malik allegedly struck Yolanda during what she claimed was a disagreement (though that disagreement isn’t entirely clear.) Malik himself has since taken to social media to reveal that the reason behind the disagreement was in fact that Yolanda repeatedly showed up to their home unannounced.
People Magazine got their hands on the documents which show he allegedly “grabbed [Yolanda] and shoved her into a dresser, causing mental anguish and physical pain,”
