Eccentric heir Robert Durst sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole

Robert Durst who once enjoyed a lavish life and freedom will now die behind bars. According to CNN, the eccentric heir has once again been charged and sentenced for his crimes — this time in the disappearance and murder of his best friend Susan Berman whom he violently murdered in 2000. Prosecutors successfully argued that he did so to prevent her from telling authorities about what she knew about a previous disappearance Durst was involved in (which he was later investigated for.)

That woman was identified as Katheen Durst his first wife who disappeared in 1982. Durst has not been seen since her disappearance and was declared legally dead in 2017 by a court. By all accounts, prosecutors still believe that Durst also had something to do with that disappearance also.

Berman was killed in her Beverly Hills home hours ahead of her at the time readying to speak to cops.
