U.S Republicans have blocked a bill to avert an American government shutdown

As expected Republicans in Washington are prepared to send America into a default on its loans. According to reports, Senate Republicans have kept true to their threat to thwart any bills that come their way to help avoid such. Republicans have repeatedly made it clear that they oppose any raising of the debt ceiling — and that Democrats would essentially have to achieve such on their own.

The chatter per NBC. “It’s one of the most reckless, one of the most irresponsible votes I’ve seen taken in the Senate,” he said, “and it should send a signal to every family, small business, market watcher, about who in this chamber is in favor of endangering the economic stability of our country says a statement from Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.”

Thursday is the deadline present and it increasingly appears Republicans are okay with the U.S defaulting it means they can use this as political ad fodder in next years re-election season.

Needles to say if a bill cannot be reached by midnight Thursday the government will shut down.
