COVID-19 vaccine boosters are coming and many who are already skeptical of a medical industry reaping profits from a national disaster have more reasons to question those at the top. While vaccines do work and have offered plentiful protections so far to the inoculated, it remains to be seen how much more good pharma will do with billions in profit from said boosters.
According to Newser, one section of Pharma (namely Pfizer) is expected to make upwards of $26B in sales from its vaccines and boosters whilst Moderna is expected to make upwards of $14B.
Moderna has no other reported product in the market outside of its vaccines and pending booster shots that it hopes to get endorsed by governments. In Britain, the government is expected to actually recommend the opposite Pfizer being the first choice Moderna being the second.
